| Showing Us the Way |
I am going to start or end my blog posts with 5 things I am thankful for. I love how God asks us to dwell on the pure lovely and good and I think writing these things down will help me dwell with a thankful heart in the abundant blessings I am given.
1. My son, David and I had a talk about how everything we do, we should try to do our ultimate best because we are ultimately doing everything as unto the Lord. Afterward I noticed he was in a really good mood and he also paid me a complement during the discussion.
2. A music minister from Connecticut asked to use the oil painting's image above (Showing Us the Way) for a poster he was creating for the choir program. I had prayed after Advent last year that God would allow me to be involved with Advent in some way in the coming year. The program is titled, A journey from Advent through Christmas! wow!!
3. My daughter, Kate brought her grades to all A's and B's, this is especially a blessing since she had been out sick with the flu for a week during the 9 weeks!
4. Had a fun lunch date with my hubby best friend, Pat! We love this Mexican place that is so close to his office!
5. Found out how to re sync my car for music from my i phone, now I can listen to my favorite tunes there, I love to sing in the car. I have a new favorite singer, Steph Macleod from the UK.
