The Moore's welcoming wreath

Over the river and through the woods is the song lyric that goes through my head when we head over to the shore to our cousins' house at Christmas.  What a treat to see the warmth that exudes in the Moore house with good food and delightful company and the beauty of Honey's natural arrangements tucked all over the house.  The arrangement above was thought up by Honey and John inspired by seeing a John Audubon print.  The print is of a mother dove feeding her baby.  John asked me and another artist/carver to create our versions of the theme several years ago.  Honey created this beautiful arrangement using them together for her mantle this year. I think it is one of the loveliest things I have ever been involved with.

Cape Charles, Va has the prettiest sunsets!

Here is the cutest baby in the world... the newest little one in the family.  He is just starting to walk, but he has already ridden on an ATV. John and Kelly are absolutely the sweetest parents too!  It was so much fun to see him play with his toys, drink his bottle, and investigate all around.
